Young Indians Development Society, hoohalli ,Rotary Lake Side,kolar and CMCA, Delhi have launched an Awareness Program for Prevention of Gandhi Jayanti Preparation Corona at Kodikannur village in Arahalli panchayat. Speaking at the event, Thammasandranagaraj, a Taluk Resource Person, spoke to Mahatma Gandhi, Lal Bahadur Shastri, about the rights of children to be adopted and become better citizens. Organization Nagaraj spoke about child birth registration, birth certificate issuance, nutritional guidance and awareness, vaccinations, children's sports, children's cultural activities, children's storytelling, local traditional sports activities, educational and professional guidance. He said school enrollment, school dropout, education for girls, disability needs, child marriage and child labor practices should be modeled on a child friendly village panchayat.
